We start a gastronomic walk along great Barcelona which leads us to discover its favourites corners where certainly we will find the most emblematic names representing the large gastronomic variety and singularity of our city. Well known restaurants like Neichel , in the chic city centre, the constant creativity and variety of Hisop, the famous Gaig in its new location on Aragó Street, Els Pescadors situated in the renovated section of Poble Nou (New Village), the famous Reno which we find in the mythical corner of Tuset street (with all of the nostalgia of what represented in those days the environment atmosphere of the “gauche divine” of Barcelona in the famous Tuset Street). Going on with our gastronomic wander we can have some tapas in the El Mussol, located at the famous Avenida Diagonal, real close to another famous representative of good kitchen which is the Circulo Equestre. The fusion of Japanese and Mediterranean flavours and textures are served in a warm and minimalist way in the suggestive premises Taira Dai in the busy Street Comerç. The flavour of New York, with a nice environment and its cocktail-bar, we find in the recent award-winning Est 47, a good starting point for a business dinner.
We go on with our walk and not very far from the bustling Passeig de Gràcia, in Provença street where we find the relaxing kitchen of Mandalay Café.
Also right in the city centre and really close to the prestigious Industrial School, we find La Semproniana, with its peculiar decoration and its always surprising innovative menu.
Anyway, names as El Asador de Aranda, or not fewer entertaining and innovative La Pescaderia, situated in El Born, just next to the famous Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar, among other big names, will offer us a varied sample of the delights of the good gastronomy in this magnificent city of Barcelona.
